Friends of Ecole Agape’s 2nd Comedy Night brought humor and fun to local residents. Where else can you find stand-up comedy in the Storrs-Ashford area? With live music and fresh popcorn? It was a fun evening with Rhonda Corey and Howie Mason, who gave us clean comedy and made us laugh out loud. Since laughter adds years to your life, we all extended our life spans and put any wrinkles that might develop in all the right places. Thank you to everyone to helped make this night a success!

Our 2nd Annual Comedy Night will be held at St. Philip’s parish center in Ashford on Friday, June 28. Doors open at 6:30 pm – come early to get the best seats! Live music starts at 7:00 pm and the comedy begins at 8:00 pm. All tickets at the door are $30, but call us to reserve your tickets now for only $25. We needed a village and a village arrived. Because that’s what it takes to support our school in Lilavois, Haiti, where public education is not free and many families can’t pay the fees required. Ecole Agape is the only free girls’ school in Haiti, with over 65% of the students restaveks. Without your support, these young girls in grades pre-k through six would be unable to get an education.
